Yikes why
INFINITE CONTENT INFINITE CONTENT INFINITELY CONTENT
Edit: Oh wrong one
But that one following the other... I was already annoyed

For me, a lot of this suffers from repeating stuff until it gets annoying and Will sounds terrible
Electric Blue would be better if she didn't make that weird vibrato or whatever

I liked both Infinite Contents, but they only warrant so much replay value before you just can’t listen to them anymore. It’s a shame because the instrumentals for them are really good and about the best on here. They could’ve used those instrumentals on a good song but nope, we’ll just put them on two filler tracks instead.

nananana-nana-nanananana-nana-nananananana-nananana
Try to read it without her horrible falsetto singing and that weird whaling synth sound.
Also her performance on Creature Comfort is very, very bad as well. And her vox were always one of the things that could elevate their songs.

Yeah her vocals are way off on here.

Cover my eyes electric blue
Cover my eyes electric blue
Every single night I dream about you
Every single night I dream about you
Also this is just soooo awkward, like the 2nd part has to many syllables and she has to blurt it out way to fast. (simple fix, just scratch the "single" and it fits, how are you messing this up, english is your first language)

T/t - Creature comfort and Put Your Money On Me - end are actually pretty good runs. Lyrics run the gamut from excellent to godawful. Record is ridiculously inconsistent but I'm definitely not hearing the uniformly bad record many of you people are

Yeah the night version is really cool too. The vinyls looked cool as well. What a grand album to waste it on.

I'll admit that there are a few bright moments (the groove on Signs of life, the instrumentation on Electric Blue before that godawful chorus sets in), but they barely last a whole song and the bad parts are just so, so, so, so bad. also they'll have to cope with the fact that I expect much better of them. If this would be the debut of some noname band, I might be slightly more generous.

^basically this but to be honest the fact that this is Arcade Fire is the only reason I’ve listened to it as much as I have... or even finished it in that regard. If it had been anyone else I probably would’ve turned it off around 1/3 into Creature Comfort so I would’ve never seen any bright moments.

Except it's not even a great song. Horrible Abba-Piano hook, laughable flute solo.
