feel as though this review works better as a general overview of his entire career for the last decade than for this album specifically. maybe im just buying into the attempt at being genuine here.

Haven't heard this album yet. Any thoughts on why this is barely a 3 here when it is receiving acclaim from most sources? Hasn't happened with big albums lately.

It's a very personal album for him. Like I said, you can hear the depression in his voice.
I actually really like the introspection shown here.
