Sweet album with great songs yo

The main thing to me is the insane fucking drumming and bass playing have taken a massive back seat on their new music.

"I would actually say to this that they're the type of albums that sound cool at first until you realize how shallow/ hallowed out their actual songs are with initial listens. All flash, big bang and nothing to show for it."
This reads like some contrarian mall goth who just found out that people actually like this band, so he has to have some damning revelation that the band is terrible, and everyone other than himself remains to be an idiot.

Say what, who even said that

Shit, this still goes hard. Has the melodies and da riffz.
Production is a little clean and the huge choruses might turn some people off, but this is better than that 3.5 average, come on guys

Yea this album, like every other Sikth album, is a fucking gem. Ride The Illusion and Riddles of Humanity are both so batshit crazy. The whole album still goes in, but those two in particular never fail to make me wanna go feral.

Ride The Illusion is a goat closer imo
No Wishbones is overlooked imo. Most devastating bridge since Terabithia

Need to get used to the fact that this band is never gonna get the flowers it deserves

Never noticed this didn't go over all that well here upon release. Glad it's turned around a bit. This is probably my least favorite, but I still love it. I wonder if they have another one in them. I'd consume

Yea, this got some shit here, but it's great
Mikee said after the release that writing this was very demanding and he wants a break for a few years, so who knows. I would love some more SikTh though

Riddles of Humanity is in the top 3 of best songs Sikth has ever written and I'll die on that hill. How is it not in their top 10 most played songs on Spotify?
