Eh, it lives in the shadow of To the Nameless Dead.

I need to put this on again so I can figure out a rating, I'm assuming it'll be 3 or 3.5. Maybe 2.5 if I get bored, but probably not.

I've concluded this is overall better than To The Nameless Dead which the last three tracks on that one were kind of lacking.

Didn't you give TtND a 5?

At one point but you know me always switching my 5's like it's about to go out of style.

I thought I'd like this a lot more but I still enjoyed a good deal of it. Caught between a 3 and a 3.5 but i'll give it the benefit of the doubt as it was my first listen. If I give this more attention it may grow on me.
Album art is killer though.

This grew enough on me where I love this more than TTND. Cities Carved In STone is obe of Primordial's best songs no doubt.

Great album, but it will never pass To the Nameless Dead for me.

Well Empire Falls is probably the most epic song ever.

Primordial in general is epic. Even the 2 minute spoken word driven Solitary Mourner is amazing.
Primordial is just great at creating dense, oppressive metal that sucks you in.
