New album already seems super divisive. I'm in the 'singles are bad camp but the rest of the album is great'. The slower songs really shine, if you like the slower tunes from After Laughter then you'd probably really enjoy the new one.
The more upbeat stuff comes off super annoying though, surprisingly. Unlike on After Laughter, where the upbeat songs have a particular charm to them. That's probably the biggest downside to This Is Why.
