Yea Cory really thought he was fantastic as a singer, when there really isn't anything special about his voice. Kurt blows him out of the water
I miss his screams for sure, he was like a stronger Jon Mess

Connector was like the best song these guys ever did.

Seems like DIVISI is going to have some pretty divided opinions.

Do the people who like this album over the others just strongly dislike Kurt's voice? Because Conversation Piece absolutely fucking destroys this. No Place as well, I guess.

No Place could be. ..samey at times. A big wall of messy sound. I did enjoy it too. Conversation Piece is just, perfect. Fun and complex, wide range of emotions and sweet lyrics, great vocals playing off each other.
I'm actually not looking forward to hearing this, based on the singles, and that's something I never I wanted to say about an allb album

I dont know how anyone likes this snooze fest. I would give this album a 2.5 but being as its allb and they can di sooooooo much better, hell they have done better i downgraded this to a 1.5

While Cory and Co. do well vocally, I can't help but listen to this and think it'd be far better with Kurt singing.

'Cause Kurt can straight up sing better than them lol

After listening to it a few times it's really grown on me. Probably going to like this more than their other efforts in the end.

"A big wall of messy sound"
YES exactly how i feel about no place (no nature, connector, recluse).
loving this even though the lyrics aren't as clever. i think both new clean vocalists are better than kurt lol

i think matt coates is the better singer out of the two but cory will grow as a singer i'm sure - kurt probably has a wider range than both (maybe) but I do really enjoy the vocals on this a lot - not how they're produced so much - prefer a rawer recording but yeah they've done really well

the piano/drum intro to connector is better than the entire album it is on tbqh
|

This is lol bad. No wonder snox is repping it
