But Demon Days is like a complete and utter 5...

Oh, opinions, and how they differ!

I mean, singles' wise DD Is definitely stronger. I just don't jam it back to back like, ever. I do with this, tho, i enjoy the deep cuts here a lot more.

I think Demon Days flows like no other, I almost see it as a concept album because the vibe and flow is so consistently amazing. Listening back to back is a must for me, even though the actual tracks are perfect in their own right as well.

Whereas on this I like some tracks a lot, while the overall thing doesn't do anything for me at all.

Cool man! I wish I liked it like you, kind of jealous.

Liking something is always better imo. Maybe in time...

i dunno i guess i just find this somewhat overwhelming and, for lack of better word/pun, plastic? Now Now is the "realest" thing they've put out, full-album-wise, since like Demon Days

as far as highlights go, yeah this wins I guess but i don't really have a desire to listen front-to-back again any time soon

On further listens, album is probably not about my neighbor, Hugh Manse.

s/t is my favorite, but my 2nd favorite album-length release by them is D-Sides

it's just a bit more "freewheelin" than Demon Days, & that was part of the self-titled that I loved so much, from age 11 to now
