Yea I'm just now finding out on how much of a douche he is. That shows you how much attention I payed to him and his band in the first place.

the timeless classic about douchelord Ronnie ft an Italian juicehead
|
| |
Had a dream I was at warped tour last night and happened to walk past Ronnie and stopped to say hi. I remember thinking "damn, he is not looking too great".
After waking up, I found out he released a (very below average) new single and in the video he looks just like I remember him looking in my dream. Wild times.

Ronnie being almost 40 writing a song about cancel culture is peak cringe
|
| |
Yeah, honestly though, his lyrics have been cringe since at least he Falling in Reverse started so whatever. Zombified is definitely not the direction I would like to see Ronnie head in though.

I wonder if the title track still good
|
| |
I just went and listened to it, and I think at the time it dropped we were so surprised that it was not as bad as the previous output and so jarred by the stylistic changes that we ignored the fact it is pretty boring and meh.
Okay I just accidentally listened to this whole album. I still really dig Loser, outside of that standout the album is surprisingly fine. Lots of below average lyricism, but the music, delivery and melodies as a whole are very listenable 3 type material.
|
| |
Haha after my comment I went ahead and listened to the title track as well and it still holds up. The part of the bridge with the corny countdown I could do without though
|
| |
That countdown is absolutely miserable and the rest of the song is just kinda fine. Again, the 3 feature review is a perfect rating.

Zombified is a solid track for FIR standards, but not as good as some of the songs on this album
Cry Venom is still the best thing to have come from FIR
|
| |
listening to that now for the first time and it feels very Dragonforce ...
|
| |
new single and its video are amazingly dumb
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7_e_NY-f3g
lmao but I don't hate it.
|
| |
Um, wow. That breakdown was insane. Lot of little references to previous songs, amazing production value on the video as usual. It's honestly been like 30+ years since I've seen this degree of excellence in music video form. Basically since MTV was in it's prime in the late 80's.
|
| |
ya song is generic. video production is enjoyable, Zombified is better.
I still want to complain that Ronnie Radke has never been properly serious about showing off his full range of abilities because of his playfulness and roguishness. It's actually this waste that many people hate, not this band I think.
|
| |
You can say what you about the guy, but he does have a ton of talent.

Album Rating: 3.0 | Sound Off
He is talented. He just doesn't put any of it to use because their fanbase will listen to him gargle cum down a microphone and claim any criticism against it is just the twitter mob trying to cancel him. He can make millions pumping out shit, if you could wouldn't you? Band is a business model, not an outlet for creativity
Their music videos are where he shows any semblance of effort
|
| |
New song kinda sucks, I was expecting a half-ass decent song and the first 2 minutes was a sped up Tom Mcdonald song
But the last half was ok, I'll admit
|
| |
It's just another song where Ronnie is crying about how people don't like him while also insisting it doesn't bother him
|
| |
Ya not gunna lie, I enjoyed the new track more then I wanted to
|
| |
It's not bad, but Zombified is better (of course instrumentally, but not mentally)
