I really enjoyed this. Nothing groundbreaking, but they dot their i's, cross their t's and their are some quality jams on here. Drags towards the end though.

Zak how do you rate their stuff?

Massive fan about 20yrs ago. Still jam here and there. Darklands is me fave, honeys dead is underrated as fuck.

Had no idea this had come out already.
Still need to give Psychocandy a listen some day.

Honeys dead and psychocandy are my faves too need to check this

Honey's Dead is awesome. Psychocandy and Darklands seem a bit overrated to me though. I appreciate how groundbreaking Psyco was at the time but it seems a bit simplistic to me in terms of songwriting. Darklands is nice but doesn't stick with me much, love the t/t on it though. Honey's Dead takes the best elements of both of those and executes them better.

I feel that Boney, but the simplicity is its strength in my eyes

And Daniel psychocandy for sure

Psychocandy was good but once I revisit it it'll probably be a 3.5. Just really good noise pop and that's about it

It'll always be darklands for me.. but the best parts of automatic are some of their best stuff to me, despite the drum machines..

"Sometimes that's just what you need "
I agree but for some reason listening to their debut makes me just want to jam Velvet Underground tbh lol
