The new Empire is fucking awful. The new Beautiful Dirt and Fukai rule composition wise but the production all round is not very good. I didn't expect extreme care from a best of album for 3 remakes (however the doc and packaging looks great) but if the new album has production like this I won't be happy.

Yeah, I'm hoping they use Tue Madsen for the future studio album, cuz it certainly worked for the previous DEG albums and Adoratio. Meanwhile, waiting for proper rips of Vestige to get the best we can out of this production.

After so many legit reworked "III D Empire" live performances, it's a pity the studio remake doesn't measure up to them.

We followed up Empire's best version (Mode Vulgar) with its worst haha.

I wouldn't say the new IIID Empire is awful, but definitely doesn't capture what made the original so great.

Why can’t every Diru album have this kinda production? It’s so good m/

It became a motivation to check more lives actually, having that huge production. Makes this endlessly replayable, plus Kyo still being at his zenith helps.

Kasumi is definitely my favourite on here, followed closely by Bottom of Death Valley.

The acoustic version of "The Final" on the super deluxe really shows how beautiful and raw Kyo's vocals are.

If they ever made an album together, that might be one of the most vocally insane records to ever exist.

The Final remake here is so good, prefer it to the original tbh.
