Does anyone know where DFelon lives, and so how long it'll be until nightfall (and the rest of his CTTS review)?

By the way, that album cover is fucking weird.

It's a fold out album, and it's got that collage stuff all over.

Dude, every time the forums come back up, I leave like 5 minutes later. I'll do it later tonight. I work better late at night anyways.
Good album, not as technical as their old stuff but still AWESOME. They are no way GRINDCORE at all, NO WAY. They are just like strictly math/tech metal. No grind here. Know what grindcore is before you speak.
I think we know what grind is. We were just using grind to shy away from the now overused term "math" when describing genres. In the end we gave in anyway. I'm sick of reading magazines saying "these guys turn music into advanced calculus." Firstly, it was sort of clever the first time but not the 80th and secondly, calculus isn't all that tricky. I personally find Dillinger Escape Plan much more difficult to manage/fathom. That is all.

nice review.altho I myslef would have given 5/5.this album is incredible.the only thing I've listened to in days.i think i this surpasses all the efforts put out by this band.definately check it out if you like heavy music.

I'm really not thinking a 5/5 is appropriate. "Unretrofied" is just way too silly lyrically at points, and I think "Sunshine The Werewolf", while for the most part being impossibly sweet, goes on about a minute too long.

I found unretrofied very astonishing the first time I heard.I like to see bands porgress and add differents elements.even tho most people shun change especially if it's a band that you are very close to.but I personally love unretrofied.sunshine wolf may stretch on too long but man when it gets to it's climax that song is amazing those horns or saxaphones or whatever really put off alot of energy and bring somethin new to the table that's both excited and will catch attention of many people who aren't fond of dillenger.

Good review, man. The only song I've heard off this album is "Baby's First Coffin" from the Underworld soundtrack. I like the new vocals a lot and it still sounds like Dillinger, I'll probably buy this album soon.

Hehe, true that. Dead, stop trying to act hardcore, you've lost. You can't support your argument.
You are a ****ing idiot. I didn't say I didn't know grind, shut up you loser who doesn't know **** about genre's as usual it's typical for you.
If you can't hear any Napalm Death influence in Dillinger, you need your ears checked. The closest thing that comes to this "math" genre is grindcore. Take the closest bands to Dillinger: Converge, Between The Buried And Me, The Locust. These bands are all grindcore frontrunners. Get with the program.

Also, if you're going to try to insult me, learn how to get around the fucking swear censor.

I missed a DEP show a few weeks ago.. Still kicking my own ass because of it.... They won't come to denmark again for a long time I'm guessing..

I heard they still play songs from the EP live? Is that true?.. I'd love to hear if their new singer can keep up with patton.
