This is my #1 must get album. I'm going to buy the Harry Potter book Friday at midnight, If I see this album at the store (Borders) I'll be leaving with Deathly Hallows, and Somewhere in Time

This album is extremely awesome, and i just got it today. I have 4 maiden albums, and all are so goddamn amazing, i really cant order them into best to worst....im thinking out of the four i own, my favorite to worst is:

Powerslave

Somewhere in Time

Number of the Beast

Piece of Mind

but they all are so amazing, and this album i feel to be Maiden's most solid, there is no filler on this album , no track thats not really as good as the rest. However, my favorite song on this album (ALexander the Great) is my least favorite favorite song out of the four albums if that makes any sense. Its my fifth favorite song from them right now outta the four albums, my top five sogns from them so far are this in order:

Hallowed be thy Name (NOTB)

Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Powerslave)

Aces High (Powerslave)

Still Life (PoM)

Alexander the Great (SiT)

i think ill get "Seventh son of a Seventh Son" for my next Maiden album. This Message Edited On 07.18.07

The crown in Maiden's discography for me. Awesome melodies and solos, better than on any other album. Many progressive elements and great vocals.

The fact that it's a bit more rock and a bit less metal is refreshing too.

I'm not that desparate, I actually saw it yesterday for the first time, but as life goes I had no money to buy it. I'll probably download it or something. My final tests own my life right now.

I finally got this after months of searching, I'm so happy. It is very awesome, I don't know if give a 4.5 or 5, cuz it is somewhere in between. For now I'll give the 4.5 and if it grows a little more I'l change it.

The last 3 minutes of Alexander The Great make me go ummm. Along with White Walls last minutes by BTBAN, one of my fav album endings ever. This Message Edited On 02.08.08

My opinions always change when it comes to the best Maiden albums. Sometimes its Number, other times its Powerslave and then it could be Piece of Mind. This is consistently my 4th favourite though. This Message Edited On 05.10.09

I personally think Seventh Son, absoultey blows. I don't own any very early Maiden (Maiden, Killers) but that may change, great tunes just not a fan of the other singer.
