What I originally meant when I said the only reason it was slightly weaker was because when I sit down and play this record, unlike their other albums, I don't like to look at the cover. I will tend to look at the album cover a lot when listening to records and this is just one of those that just leaves a sour taste in my mouth so I get annoyed at it.

Of course the cover is not what's important, but I can't deny that I've checked a lot of albums (even if they're hated) because I was interested in the cover



Same goes for classic albums, if they don't have a cool cover, it just doesn't feel the same

Album could've used a better closer, it's the reason I don't have this 4.5'd.

what I like



But my fav Floyd covers are WYWH and Animals (made by Hipgnosis too)

Lol but still, it wouldn't have it's ultimately forever remembered image if it wasn't for that cover. Not everyone would have a DSOTM shirt and we wouldn't have it crammed in our faces by the media.

Album artwork is very important to me and can often shape the atmosphere and feel of an album, thus an amazing album cover can make me like an album slightly more than I might if it had horrible artwork. It depends on the genre as to the extent of an album cover's importance though.
