oh man, that's wayyy too hard... I lean towards Fainting Spells and We Got The Knife, but it's hard to go wrong with any of them.

I did not like We've Got The Knife at all when I first listened to it and now it's a top tier AFI track for me. I want a whole album like that.

Synesthesia and Rabbits Are Roadkill are probably my favorite b-sides. I really love Carcinogen Crush too though and I feel like that one is underrated. All of the Crash Love b-sides are fantastic too...
Gun to my head, Synesthesia is my favorite. One of my favorite AFI songs in general. I got to see it live last year and that was fucking amazing.

I still jam my AFI b-sides playlist regularly :P
100 Words is amazing and the clean parts are really fun to play on guitar but the 'beautiful boys let's destroy' part is kind of cringe which drags it down for me a bit. The StS, DU & CL b-sides put together kind of make an awesome album's worth of material though.

Oof, that's a hard one. It always changes, but it's either Synesthesia or Now the World. Too Late For Gods is up there, too.

@Light yeah all those songs are sick, agreed. They might be the only band with b-sides that are literally on par with their album tracks. It's kind of amazing.

The View from Here, On the Arrow and even Fallen Like the Sky are enchanting and I can't believe neither were included on DU. At least one of the first two would have made a perfect closer.
Breathing Towers and Too Late for Gods is like if you were to mix STS era writing with a Crash Love aesthetic.
Fainting Spells and Carcinogen Crush are two of AFI's coolest songs and deserved proper album placement.
Now The World is a very Top Tier AFI song that I dont listen to enough because it isn't on a full album.
100 Words is a good song but doesnt hold weight against the majority of STS songs, so I get the B side delegation.
I've never been very fond of We Got the Knife, but over the years Where We Used to Play has really grown on me. Rabbits has never done tons for me either, but I should give it some more time.

They just need to release a complete compendium of all of their B-sides up to 2019, there are so many good songs that never made it on official releases.

Ether and Reiver's Music are excellent as well. Also Lower It

@Dungeon at one point they were planning to release a b-side ep with 5 of the b-sides, but something prevented it from ever happening. All the songs had different names originally too haha
@Art agreed, none of them made my list of mentioning, but Ether is especially awesome

Probably some management BS,I assume, prevented it from happening. Totally forgot about Ether. That's a good one too.

All this talk of b-sides has me rearranging albums with b-sides put back into them. Decemberunderground is particularly fun.
1. Fainting Spells
2. Carcinogen Crush
3. The Killing Lights
4. 37mm
5. Fallen Like The Sky
6. Affliction
7. The Missing Frame
8. The View From Here
9. Kiss and Control
10. The Interview
11. Rabbits Are Roadkill On Rt. 37
12. Endlessly, She Said
13. On The Arrow
With On The Arrow being a bonus track like This Time Imperfect. The acoustic guitar that ends On The Arrow wraps back around to Fainting Spells quite nicely.

You can't take summer shudder, Kill Caustic and love like winter out.
Honestly I could do without missing frame and kiss and control. Not big on rabbits either
What this tracklist did make me realize is that Fainting, Carcinogen, Fallen, The View and On the Arrow are all A grade songs that deserved to be on the album more than the majority of the album tracks. On the arrow being a hidden song would have been absolutely perfect ... I wish they hadn't stopped doing that.
