Can't believe he has actually fulfilled my wish of an album with 95% of Melrose on vocals. So damn happy right now :_)

Yeah but you'll see Tundra, this is like melrose everywhere, really liked it though

eh, kinda false advertising ngl, having the first single with harsh vocals and then the rest of the album with non? they were just asking for people to complain with that move. Album isn't bad, but I just keep getting the sense of "heard it before". There isn't much variation, I'd almost describe it as crooning clean vocals over djent riffs and ambient noises for an hour. Well, I am underwhelmed, but there is some highlight parts I guess.

True, true. Just heard the podcast with Joe, still don't get why the chose t/t as the single. It suffers from the same problems than Telesterion, I love the melrose parts but none of them come close to smth like Synesthesia Signal or Cryoshock. I gotta give it more spins though.

I dont understand how they cant atleast match the quality of those tracks... agree, Synesthesia and Cryoshock are still the best, unfortunately.

I think part of the reason may be that they write the lyrics to fit in the lore instead of giving it enough musicality to make a proper hook, so it all gets a bit convoluted.
I think it's a grower, so I went with a 4, solely based on the fact that they pulled off a January 1st release haha

This is one of my favorite Mechina albums, although I prefer the compendium version, sounds so triumphant, love it. Godspeed, Vanguards is amazing, especially that switch up at the latter half of the track
