I liked this at first, and then it plummeted downward for me after repeated listens. Went back to TDS and Fragile to quickly realize how average this is.

Dear World rules and further proves that Trent needs to stay on the mellower Year Zero/Hesitation Marks track

"the idea of you" gets the cheapest riff ever award. my friend's band was writing more original riffs when they started 4 years ago, and he's 20 now

"dear world" has a terribe synth sound and the spoken parts are ultra cheesy but yeah it's still probably the best track on the whole ep. only goes to show you how awful it is

Mellow is good, and Trent does it well, but I wouldn't mind a balance. I like it a little rough around the edges, more exciting. I could always go back to the 90's Nine Inch Nails, but what's the fun in that? Those records will always be around, gotta see where he's going next.

As much as I think it's pretty good I have to agree completely tbh

definitely the best music he's produced as nine inch nails since 'with teeth', let's hope the next album makes us forget about the last ten years of jokes.
