Spit Out The Bone is the best song they've done in two decades.

review is a tad harsh, but anyway your opinion..

tbh they should have cut manunkind and murder one and made this 1 CD. would have been fine.

its nothing ground breaking but did anyone honestly expect it to be?

"An overlong but gleefully energetic sequel to Death Magnetic."

Doesn't sound too promising to me... But I'll try to be free from prejudice and I'm certainly open to conviction.

Death Magnetic was a 3 so I'm expecting this to be similar, does anyone actually think this is a whole lot different to DM?

Maybe I'll change my mind when I hear a fan remaster but this has far less passion than Death Magnetic, hell it's still worse than DM with the harsh noise/Rick Rubin production. As you could see from the making of the three singles for this album there's much less team work and thought put into these songs whereas you can tell it was an all hands on deck ordeal with the making of Death Magnetic

I like the fact that they're releasing their whole album as music videos on youtube. A good way to counter leaks in which everyone wins.

I totally agree with this review. Top three songs are Moth into Flame, Spit Out the Bone, and Halo on Fire.

They did, I guess they'd rather have people stream the whole album on YouTube than illegally download it.

This review sums up my feeling on the album. I'm just kinda whelmed. Not over or under; it's classic (not classic) Metallica.

The music world needs to consider that we are so far removed from their first four albums that this may as well be a different band.
