"I need more riffs to give this more than a 3.5."

Henrikson's departure will hurt the band in that department.

I've read so many reviews from other sites saying this album is amazing so I'm not that worried. All three singles were great in my opinion. The two bonus tracks are getting a lot of praise as well.

"Imagine a combo of those two with Depeche Mode vocals and that's actually pretty spot on."

This def has stronger riffing than Construct or WATV. Also really loving the drums on this album.

Liking this more than I expected to tbh. And I'd have to disagree about Neutrality -- I'd take that, Force of Hand, and When the World Screams over Icipher. This doesn't come close to something like Fiction overall but yeah. To me this sounds like a more fully-realized version of Construct, which isn't a bad thing.

Mine will be in my mailbox after work, really excited. There's an unboxing video on their facebook and the art looks amazing.

Neat idea including the mediabook unboxing in the corner during the same video.

Icipher used to be one of my favorite songs from Fiction, now it's just kind of there.

definitely not these guys' best album, still though, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. there's some really nice tracks here embracing their poppy atmospheric side. pretty cool

So the US version is a digipak, not a mediabook. Still looks really nice and it's pretty big.

Fiction is a funny album. you always say it's fucking good but when asked to name a good song you're like ughhhhh omg

i think nothing to no one is a good song from that album. the mundane and the magic also kicks arse

Inside the Particle Storm is a clear standout, being one of the longer tracks in their discog and just the huge apocalyptic vibe it gives off. Also really love the opener, The Lesser Faith, Blind at Heart and Empty Me. Fiction as an album is just so consistent.

Atoma is really good, I think the amount of good riffs on the album has been pretty understated. It's not as consistently energetic as say Character, but it has just about the perfect amount of heavy riffage going hand-in-hand with their more moody goth rock elements. Jam this loud with good speakers.

So if Construct is the equivalent of Projector, then is this the equivalent of Haven and will folowed by three amazing albums?
