"All The Way slaps so hard dear god"
As per usual with JEW

Haha bingo. If the single were anything less, well that's usually a cause for concern. I guess that's a good sign.

Oh boy, Surviving is good.
Maybe not quite as emotional as this, but better in other ways where even though it lacks the gut punch of Integrity Blues, it makes up for it by valuing songwriting over aesthetic.
I won't give any more away but if you like Jimmy, this new album will not let you down.

They played 7 out of 10 songs live in Phoenix on Sunday, so I've heard clips of most of the songs (wish I hadn't but I have no willpower). What do you think to 555 on the album? It's the only one I'm not sure on yet judging from the live clip (though I expect the studio version to have more prominent production intricacies).

The last four songs turn a good album into a great album. Highly emotional. The End Is Beautiful and the t/t hit me right in the feels. This is at the very least a 4, maybe 4.5.

Fantastic! Yeah the title track is lovely. Feeds nicely into Pol Roger too which is great. Sure and Certain is the one that really gets me though, and It Matters is so melodically lush.

You With Me is their second-best opener behind Bleed American imo. Pretty Grids has such a slick groove to it as well. Perfect album.
