Hawks, they’re mostly all worth checking, but those three are their best LPs

It still feels weird, this is the first modern band I truly love that has disbanded. I still remember where I was and what I was doing when I read that they were breaking up. And I remember feeling such catharsis when I was watching them for the first (and last) time. I’m really glad they announced they were breaking up before that final tour. Not many bands get to go out on their own terms and I have an enormous amount of respect for them for that.

I’m gonna be an emotional wreck when Converge finally calls it quits.

Totally understand that Wildcard. I also think it was the best decision they could make. Calling it quits while they still have the energy to deliver such frantic live shows and put out great albums. The last time I saw them is still the best live gig I've ever went to and when my health doesn't fuck me up I go to at least one band per month. And that gig wasn't special because it was their last or they made some kind of emotional announcement (not at all), but you could feel how everybody in the crowd and on stage just totally went nuts to the limit. Also the support with Godmother and Number 12 was great and there were no barricades, which is a big plus. Everything was set up for a magic evening.

Still blows my mind he's only 12-years old.

There was a running joke on TDEP's social media pages during their last few years, of Rymer only being some teenage entity, and there were always comments exaggerating his exact age.

Thought maybe someone on here would get it.

Fuck that’s right up my alley. Everyone from this band is in a bunch of really good and talented groups now but this is the first one that I fucking dig. Really excited to see where this goes.

Can anybody tell who these other dudes in Billy's new band are? Couldn't find anything about their past bands or something like that

Still a bit jelly that my friends godmother got to support these guys. The last gig in sthlm was catharsis though.

Godmother are such a cool band. One of those bands I don't listen to but would always go to see live

Was just listening to this album earlier today.

The last three tracks are among my favorite sequence of songs from Dillinger.

This album really is a seminal piece of work from them.
