"he leaked it himself"
There isn't much information on the leak. It would be odd if that is true.

I mean, it would kind of make sense that he leaked it considering he pretty much already has. The official channel has nearly all the tracks uploaded.

Which album is the least folky Bon Iver? Cos I'd probably like that one the most.

There's an i,i playlist on Spotify under Bon Iver that's still missing a couple of tracks, but it looks like they've been adding tracks to it slowly over the last few hours. Maybe they'll add the remaining tracks this morning?

New album sounds pretty underwhelming so far :/

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse than this.

he literally posted one video per hour to the official Bon Iver YouTube channel. shared the opener to the Bon Iver subreddit from a confirmed personal account. and now it's releasing on spotify in regions that are past midnight - this was official

i think the listening parties led to unofficial leaks so he's getting ahead of those copies by releasing it himself

on first listen it feels like a stylistic part II to this album except uplifting/optimistic

yeah some songs remind me of the wild excursions of this one fused to the songwriting framework of BI, BI - like the hooks in iMi and Faith are straight from his folky days

if it is the last Bon Iver album it's a pretty fantastic summation of the project

Ah ok, I thought you said he leaked it though. An official leak doesn't involve uploading songs to your youtube.

Now that the tracks are being released (2 left), I can find out if what I have is fake or not. So far every song matches up with the youtube.

loving Marion and Salem now too, former is like 45 on acoustic guitar lol

@Ghandhi the leaks out there would be sourced from YouTube and/or Spotify uploads so it's p much an official leak. as luci said he knew it would be circulating in shitty quality after the listening parties so he just dropped it to us early so we could hear the HQ. king move

" listening parties" That would explain it then. Thanks.

I don't think the quality is shitty though :p

How can you officially listen to Salem? I cant see it on apple or spotify.
