It's not nearly as good as this but I'm trying to stay positive. It's still got some really fun tunes.

I have it at a 2.5 now, feel like it'll end up at either a 2 or a 3

Any recs for bands or albums that have a similar sound/vibe to this or Dreamland? Been kinda into that like super sugary alt-pop stuff lately and it's not a style of music I'm very familiar with so I don't really know where to start.

I overrate the Hell outta this record because of a potent nostalgic attachment from a past relationship, it is OK

Like what then? Cuz I actually think that ones pretty fun. It's got no substance to it at all but it's pretty catchy and gets my head bobbin. That's pretty much all I'm looking for in pop music lmao.

So glad I got no heavy memm's tied to Alvvays, the fresh-eyed innocence tumtum butterflies in Archie Marry Me are too wholesome

Kind of pissed at myself for sleeping on this album until this week despite it registering on my radar right around the time of release. This is probably one of the better albums of an already great year in music. Hilarious lyrics, captivating performances, clever songwriting, pristine flow... there's a lot to love here.

Better five years late than never.
