my only problems with this album are that the end of Gasoline could go right into You Stole and work well. And that the last 3 songs or so don't need the crushed compression on the drums cuz it hurts mah ears. And "STONES IN YOUR EYES STONES IN YOUR EYES", if all that was fixed it's a 5 from me.

I used to think I hated bed, but over the years, Bed is one of the only Brand New songs that will just out of nowhere pop into my head out of nowhere when its quiet and I'm not doing anything. I was talking with sowing awhile back and he said the same thing. Makes me question whether I actually dislike it.

the lyrics on this album make so much more sense now...everyone berates Science Fiction but the lyrics on this one are far more telling and you can really feel the regret/despair -- half this album is him singing about how he thinks he's hell-bound and that it's too late for redemption...

This is one of my favorite Brand New albums. I didn't call myself a fan of the band until this album came out. It's incredible.
"Bed" is one of the best on here to me, but my favorite is still "At The Bottom," which I listened to A LOT back then (9 years ago...where the hell did this time go?).
I still really like it.

Yeah after having time to digest all their albums, I'd probably lock this in at #2. Science Fiction is close though. Deja and YFW kind of feel off my radar after college. TDAG is in a league of its own.
