albums out in september they haven’t given an actual date yet but from what i’ve heard it’s probably the 6th since he said it’s out before the next simple creatures ep and that’s the only friday in september before that happens

6/8 is still easily their best post-Delonge track, not sure I’ll bother with the new stuff.

Hell yeah. If they ever pulled off an album maintaining that quality these days, I'd cream

Agreed, Darkside is pretty good. Still not that excited for the new album but it's a glimmer of hope.

I hate this new(ish) practice of releasing half the goddamn album before release. If it’s a band I really like, I don’t even listen. I miss the days (guess I’m old now) where we’d get ONE single, then maybe one or two more after release. Builders anticipation more, for me at least.

Yeah I mean, damn, how many more are we gonna get? Reminds me of Muse Simulation Theory — fuckers just couldn’t stop releasing songs.

1,000,000% agreed. with some records that im really highly anticipating, i consciously avoid pre-release singles so that the album is totally new when i hear it for the first time. a single or two beforehand usually doesnt hurt but with every additional one that's released, the freshness of the eventual album is diminished.
