i really like these songs individually but my gripe with this band, and with melodeath in general, is that when every song is aiming for absolutely epic proportions it's hard to not grow a little tired with it as the album progresses
the new singles have left me with a bit mixed feelings so far, hidden window is excellent but foothold is a below average tune for them

Only one listen through, definitely agree that it's going to need repeat listens before getting a real judgement, but my initial impression is that it probably isn't going to top Vessels.
