Vessels my friend. It's the best album of the decade, in my opinion.

It's strange, my brain wont quite accept how good this album is.

They have 4 killer albums on their shoulders, it's really a shame they don't get what they deserve. I mean, how people run and buy every mediocre new album of Amon Amarth and ignore Be'lakor?

Good question. I suppose it's the same weirdos who erroneously believe that the new Metallica and Slayer are good.

I really dig those 8-bit style riffs, like the one at 2:05 in Withering Strands. Shit never gets old! Smashes me hard every damn time...

A lot of people don't have the patience to listen to a 6+ minute song, and Amon Amarth just writes something catchy and immediately rewarding, however small that reward may be

Already 4.5'd almost every album of them except for Stone's Reach which it's a 4 to me, so, yeah, this band it's on their own league, new album this year can't come soon enough

'smoke of many fires' has so many good riffs. a lot of bands in their entire discography doesn't have riffs so original and powerful like this song.

The rhythm section is probably the best within the genre, studio wise.
