There are, of course, but dissenting opinion is good. Getting opposing views is almost always beneficial, and for the ones that are more than "album is shit," it can actually help solidify for yourself why you like it so much.

I wonder what the reason is behind the drums. Chad Smith has never been the best drummer in the world or anything, but he absolutely has chops and used to do some cool stuff on their older records.

i was more referring to the sound of the drums rather than chad's parts, ie the way the drums were recorded lacks punch and space (with the exception of we turn red)

compare that to the great big bonham-esque room sound the drums have on bssm and it's night and day

yeah the Peppers have always been apart of my musical rotation since as long as I can remember. only the past 3ish years they have grown off me

i randomly threw on californication some time last week and enjoyed it, but yeah that was the first time i purposefully listened to them in awhile

theyre a good ass band with some great material no doubt about it
