truly embarrassing vocals, i deleted a skylit drive ages ago
Maybe the dumbest thing I've ever read on this site. Vox here are amazing.

Agree, top band, can't wait for their next output.

This is honestly blowing me away. Was not expecting this to be as great as it is at all.

lucid needs to be tarred and feathered for comparing this to a skylit drive

Yeah that literally makes no sense at all. Would compare this more to something like Alcest or Lantlos if anything. Vox are just a little higher pitched but god damn are they powerful.

I actually listened to them coming from Alcest last year

Tried listening to this once or twice and sadly enough it bored me to tears

Pretty much the exact opposite of boring for me bro. The atmosphere on this album is incredible and the vox are some of the catchiest/best I've ever heard.
Yeah I'm 5'ing fuck it.

Gonna give them a try again, but I don't really see it working for me. I also get a bit too much of a teen pop-punk vibe from the vocal hooks and harmonies, which never really floats my boat

I can def understand that. I get a big emo vibe from the vox too but that's not a bad thing for me tbh.
Up and Atom, Resin, Obsolete, and Trail of Sulfur are some of the best songs I've ever heard.

yesss!!!! FINALLY HAWK!!! I knew you would love this!!!

"teen pop-punk vibe"
that's why i compared them to a skylit drive and that whole warped tour scene. vocals are cringe, make this a 2/5 at best

i can almost guarantee that every pop punk singer you're thinking of has a way more nasally voice than Astronoid's vocalist
|

Gave it another listen today...still a harsh nope for me...
