I agree Hawks, this slays. I also wasn't completely turned off by the single. Never heard a thorough explanation why it was hated so much lol. seems a little undeserved.
I guess what some would call 'filler' is Kvelertak going for a more sprawling sound. The gradual layering of guitars caught my attention from their debut, and its definitely a factor on this record.

Yeah I really don't hear any filler here. The single made me feel like they were completely abandoning the bm/hardcore roots, but that's not the case at all.
