I'm super late to this review section, but I'm going out on a limb and saying the last half of this album is the best. It just hits so much harder I feel.

hey as the reviewer no one is ever late !!

I like the second half a bit better too man, even if it's sloppier.

This album really just didn't have the staying power the last couple did. Honestly, I preferred sorority album's new album over this.

I only jam selected songs from this but that's what i do with every mobo album tbh. this just felt like their most ~complete~ one. I hope they come back soon

Some songs on this thing really are great. However, as a whole it just doesn't work.

Yeah, I hope they are doing well. I was supposed to see them at two dates right before they canceled touring.

@Con I completely agreed. I was super bummed because I wasn't able to see Kevin Devine or Sorority Noise open for them though. I had seen MB 3 times prior, but never the other two. Regardless I ended up seeing SN a few months later and hopefully Ill be able to get a resale lolla aftershow ticket for Kevin Devine. Everything works out eventually... sometimes haha

For some reason, even though I listened to this a ton last year, I have no desire to come back to it at all (or grab it on vinyl), unlike all the other stuff I enjoyed in 2016. Can't explain it.

I find it's an album which when songs come on a shuffle, I appreciate it. But I never find myself going out of my way to listen to the complete piece anymore.

Came back to this randomly, and it hits harder than I remember. Both sides work. First half gave me the feels thinking of my grandparents. I hope Brendan is doing well.

I hope so too man, the general apathy and messiness of the latter half is extremely telling of his mental state which is beautiful and sad and the former half is some great foreshadowing into Jake's work with Slaughter Beach, Dog

I totally forgot about Slaughter Beach, Dog ... just looked it up and he has a show in about a month near my house I will try to catch.

I miss Modern Baseball and Sorority Noise a lot. Hope Brendan is doing well.

I love Brendan dearly and he's my favorite member of the group easily, but I personally think his half is weaker by a considerable margin
