This album's version of "True Love Waits" may be more unique but that doesn't mean it's better

Glass Eyes is gorgeous and def a highlight. Identikit is cool but I think would’ve fit better on King of Limbs.

Digging: We Lost the Sea - Triumph and Disaster

The best version of True Love Waits is the very first performance.

That synth.

it's funny that like almost every song hinges on "let's bring in the drums during the second half"

This is potentially the bands best. A few more years should do it.

I've just realized that True Love Waits is like top 2 in the best things I've heard from this decade. I never expected I would be saying about something made by Radiohead. I probably just haven't listened enough to find more but whatever.

It's looking likely that Thom Yorke will release a solo album within the next twelve months. Ed O'Brien will be releasing his first solo album this year as well. Jonny Greenwood's been quiet lately, but worked on two soundtracks in 2017. Even their drummer has been doing soundtrack work lately.

What the band hasn't been doing is getting together to write any new music for Radiohead. They've all expressed they expect to get together again, they've also all made it clear that after two years of touring, they're taking a long damn break.

You get certain privileges when you're the most respected art-rock band in the world.

Fucking dammit. Their solo stuff is never good anyway. Fucking soundtracks. Artsy bastards.
