If they had a different vocalist or just went completely instrumental, I think this would be a 4. But his voice is a hit-or-miss for me.

Yup, can definitely see why some might have a bit of trouble warming up to the vocals. That said, I really think Low's tenor is the perfect fit for this band (also I'm not sure what other vocal style might work?).

This is a good find and a good review, I thought the songs were a bit overly ambitious at times and like some other people mentioned the vocals could use improvement, but I did enjoy my time with this and will come back around to it.

I created an account here just to say hats off to this band. And the review is really an enjoyable read as well. I've been exploring the band's catalog and I'm hearing old Eno and early Floyd vibes (the best of this stuff) all over the place. So nice. So glad I got turned on to this amazing stuff! Cheers...
