A Single Word is really cool live as well, def one of the better tracks.

funny i’ve been listening to these guys a lot the last two days and this was worse than I remember. some really great tracks (auto repeater, a single word), but a bit of a mixed bag due to some weird production choices (same with the other version of the album. why do a stripped back version but put filters all over the vocals? did they change this or something? I could have sworn there were way less vocal effects on OK 2, but when I was listening on spotify today that was not the case). also side by side is really cringeworthy. I can’t listen to it

production choices are indeed weird but as far as the songs themselves, I really enjoy them. also have really come to like how tim sounds, to me it really fits the way the album sounds and their age. the songs are still well written so I have no major complaints other than some cringey lyrics but I never cared much about lyrics anyway

one of the bands that got me into post-hardcore/music with harsh vocals, have a lot of nostalgia for them but honestly almost wanted them to stay dead
