On a second spin this is pretty great. Mixing is kinda awful, especially in the more intense sections but at least everything is audible in the other parts.

Drums really suffer, the blast beats are also really flat and have no punch when they compete with the riffs. Anyway production aside I dig the shit out of it.

it may seem like a silly comparison but i just think this brings more of a hellish atmosphere than scar sighted and it seemed as if that was the mission statement of scar sighted, which is why i say that.

yeah production is kinda weird but i dig it nonetheless, im actually really liking these guys first tape a lot more though.

I need to give Leviathan some more play time because from what I remember, Scar Sighted was alright and everything was ok to meh. His records are probably objectively better than Skaphe (objective against respective genre works that is) but Scar Sighted seemed to me like the USBM equivalent of a Guitar Center shredder.

Thank heavens my opinion is just an opinion.

This sounds much worse through headphones compared to speakers btw, just tried it and the production problem is much more obstructive.
