The Rutten brothers have a new band called Habitants, they will release their first album somewhere this year I think. Rene's wife is involved as second guitar player, and with Anne van den Hoogen in vocals (she singed "Capital of nowhere" in The west pole).
Also, Rene wrote something in his facebook about writing new material and there was a HT #thegathering so... who knows

Yeah they had one nice track, but I thought their vocalist was too generic and gave a very flat performance for the LP.
