Still need to sit down and listen to this all the way through, but I really like what I've heard so far. May be their best yet

I'm not so sure it's a beyond creation influence so much as obscura has moved into a slightly more jazzy sound that bc already had. Obscuras also always had the bass forward in the mix which might've been more an influence on bc than the other way around.

Not bad. Although i'm not sure how many repeated listens it's likely to get from me.

Loving the Anata influence. 'The Monist' is probably my favourite track on the album. Only problem is none of the other songs sound quite as interesting. 'Ode to the Sun' is pretty awesome, but every other track could literally be ripped from other bands or Alkaloid's latest, and I didn't exactly enjoy that all too much. Intro to 'Weltseele' is ripped from 'Rejoice, Rejoice' by The Oh Hellos.

Still a very fun record, but it's showing it's wear a little to early

since Grossmann leave Obscura, Lanser had good adaptation for make a "Grossmannism" alive in obscura, very technical with a lil bit jazzy stuff. listening this many times. especially Perpetual Infinity. absolutely amazing!!

Fantastic album. Especially Weltseele, but it's solid all the way through. An easy 4, and I might even ramp it up higher.

the production on this is fucking awful. vocals are overpowering, annoyingg fretless bass cuts through and is distracting at random ass times, guitars sound muddy to the point theyre thin, drums sound absolutely lifeless, i dunno if you guys have ears or whatever if you say this production is great

The fretless bass has been one of their trademarks, kinda like beyond creation. I don't see anything particularly grating about the production here, at least it's not overcompressed like fallujah
