Which isn't surprising considering that you have albums like Clayman 5'd.

Most of why 80s trad metal is such a difficult genre for me is the vocal style. Not really into the way people like Dickinson, Halford, and Dio sang. All due respect to them since I know they influenced my favorite bands of course but I personally don't care for Maiden and the like too much.

Dickinson is so different from the other two, to my ears at least. I feel like he's yelling on key, more than singing most of the time.

I know :-((((( the music still rules but I am not a fan of Bruce's vocals anymore. He's more tolerable to me than Rob Halford but not by much. Gets a little annoying the longer an album goes on. Went through Somewhere In Time for the first time in years and he didn't sound any better there than here. I'd say this > Somewhere in Time though.
