Powerslave was the album that made Maiden one of my all time favorite metal bands. Probably their best
record. But their previous one is my favorite.

In my opinion songs like "losfer words..", "Flash of the blade" and "the Duellist" (Back in the Village is nearly there), should have kept the same level as "Aces..." , "2 minutes..", "Powerslave" and "Rime...". Don´t get me wrong, they are still pretty decent songs but nothing compared to the aforementioned ones. Half of the album is outstandind and the other half is just upper average. I think that people (just like me) vote this album so generously well because of those four extraordinary songs. I don´t think we have the others in mind when we give a vote.
