well, Krys made a more typical Batushka song and Bart made a more typical black metal song.
I liked both, actually.

So, a rundown of events:
Krys bore the idea and most of the instruments, invited Bart to do the vocals, there was no contract, because of the anonymus clergy gimmick (kinda like Ghost, even up to the lawsuit). Second album took longer than expected and Bart grew impatient, eventually licensing the Batushka name and production, cutting Krys off and starting to work on his own album under the same name. Krys sued, the court ruled that while the lawsuit is going on, Bart is nt allowed to use the Batushka name or release anything under it. Therefore, the lawsuit must be over OR Bart is breaking the law by releasing a single from the album OR it's all in the ownership of Krys now (somehow) and he will release both albums.

Bart's album: Hospodi, July 12 2019 (Metal Blade Records)
Krys' album: Панихида, TBA 2019 (Sphieratz Production)

Bart's platforms: Bandcamp, Spotify, https://www.facebook.com/Batushkaband/ ; https://batushkaofficial.com/ ; https://www.instagram.com/batushkaband/
Krys' platforms: instagram.com/batushkaofficial ; youtube.com/c/батюшка ; batushkaofficial@gmail.com ; http://xn--80aab1b0bxb3b.pl/

If this is actually true, it's preposterous and definitely a first.

Adding both albums in the Sputnik db will be a mess.

let's just add both albums here and then we'll know which is which by Krys' 4.1 average and Bart's eventual 1.8

Band addition will probably be "Batushka (K)" and "Batushka (B)", but still... This is ridiculous, especially when both bands set out to play live concerts.
