Thanks! I just finished this and yeah it's not shit but it's def a bit too same-y. I ended up adding 3 tracks to my playlist: "Blood Bitch", "Shallow Then Halo", and "Garlands". Gotta revisit it at some point to see if any of those change, but those are the ones that stood out most to me.

It's a pretty difficult one to get into, this one, but it certainly has its merits. All of their stuff does I think.

i like this one best!

don't really get sucked into dream-pop or gaze like some people do. i like Lush "Never-Never", but that's undeniable. generally into the goth strangeness of Cranes more than this. like the singing on Cocteau Twins albums just gets more and more unbelievable as they go but I don't really respond to that

Underrated. I love this record. It has its own sweet spot in their discography.
