I listen to Mono and songs like Moonlight and pretty much everything in Hymn of the Immortal Wind and I can't help but think that this is the music from our time that will be remembered after 150 years.

This was pretty disappointing considering how much I loved Hymn to the Immortal Wind, but i'm giving it the benefit of a doubt and giving it a 3.5. Yearning was the only track that really stood out to me.

Love this album, so compelling and atmospheric.
Has to be a 5 for me because of the album's subjective emotional potential. In the right mood/state of mind this album will send shivers down your spine.
Probably just the art/text imagery but anyone else think the cymbals feel like an avalanche of snow, or the guitar like the flame or light itself?

I always felt that way about Hymn - the guitars sound like water.

how can you not love moonlight and the flames beyond the cold mountain
they're the best on the album imo, they both give me goosebumps

Most boring post rock band ever imo. No risks were taken in the making of this album. 5 songs which start soft, build, climax, and go soft again in the exact same way.
not terrible just boring.

this should quench my winter thirst

This is either uninteresting or the song yearning which is fucking incredible

1 and half years later I still believe this. Maybe add the likes of GYBE to the list. The first classic Metal will be remembered well, but for different reasons.
