I've felt this way since Sunbather, I'm hoping on Infinite Granite they finally have an answer.

Alcest more created that sound, and Sunbather launched it into the mainstream for whatever reason. It’s also a fantastically written album and their best, but I hope Infinite Granite is even better, and I’m glad it seems they’re ditching the bm.

Regarding Baby Blue, it could be my favorite on here actually if there were more interesting ideas to flesh out its runtime than what the second half has to offer, but the 3-4 minute intro is amazing and that solo section is enjoyable to me.
