I was thinking that was it, thanks for clearing that up.

Nah u were pretty much right ziz, Drake & Future were/are definitley the biggest pop stars in rap this year. Both of their aesthetics make a decent aggregate for the sound of rap in 2015. And then their numbers, obviously, Drake is #1 and Future is only behind cole & dot & i guess dre for this year. Overall, Future is coming off the most popular & consistent streak of music out of all of them and that's what ends up mattering most

Gnar don't pay attention to that ish.
It's obvious what you mean just by reading your writing. Agreed on a lot of accounts doe, I wish this product didn't sound like it was made within 6 days. Which is apparently the amount of time it took to make it.
Diamonds Dancing is Drake & Future at their best without a doubt.

well it IS a "mixtape" so to speak, so its going to sound like it took 6 days to make

Ayyyyy Aziz, great review as always.
I thought this album was monumentally boring, but yeah, this pretty much is a victory lap of Fewtch and Aubrey, soo, I wasn't expecting anything to begin with either. The whole tape is just so empty, the short working time on it is painfully obvious to me and the fact that it bumps/is "memeworthy" does not make the faults disappear for me. Idunno, call me pretty underwhelmed.
And Potsy, I know you hate both Drake and Future, but come on, it should be really obvious to you that the two are basically the most talked about rappers in the mainstream and hip-hop scene in this year next to Dre and K.Dot.

Sweet write-up man!

except future's popular high point coincided with his creative one this yr and he has made some of the best music while being unavoidable in pop culture. someone with a clue should review 56 nights, easily my fav project from him
