That's great news that they finished the new album. Hope Stainthorpe is well, his daughter had cancer which delayed the album. I imagine this album will have some of the melancholy from that situation in it.
He said before that this album will have more of the original guitarist Calvin on it, he was in the band in their heyday, on some of their best classic albums. He rejoined in 2015 or so but wasn't on Feel the Misery, apparently because he joined too late. He was last in the band in like 1999.

Yeah, amazing track. Can’t wait to hear what the other songs sound like.

That guitar line within the verses is so beautiful, amazing contrast with the harsh vocals which rule hard.
Need to jam this band properly, only checked this album and it rules.

Just heard the whole album last night... the two singles are the perfect gauge to decide how you're going to feel about the whole album. Other than a couple short tracks that use a female vocalist and don't even have drums, the entire new release is similar to the singles. It's easy to get lost in.

Yeah, the whole thing is dominated by guitar melodies with occasional violin parts. There's almost no keyboards. Also, Aaron's vocals are layered and harmonized virtually every time clean singing is used, which makes the new album have the most actual 'singing' he's ever done (and not just the melodic, melancholic, spoken word style he normally does).
