Mozza and Fripp are miseries too, must be a talented songwriter thing.

Na but I do like Wildon, really started warming to his solo stuff recently.

I'm probably in the very small minority that thinks the first two tracks are the best here

Fuck yeah they are. Intruder is genuinely one of the creepiest and most unsettling songs ever made and No Self Control has those godlike Collins Afro rhythms

Yesss I just wished the rest of the album lived up to them, I'm in the even smaller minority that thinks this is middle of the road for Gabriel in general

The middle portion of this falls victim to the same stadium rock kinda sound that Car and Scratch dealt with, but just a bit better (talking mainly abt I Don't Remember and And Through the Wire, both fantastic songs, but a wee bit out of place sonically but not thematically. Tony Levin is a monster on IDR)

Up is also a monster record, although it's a little long in the tooth. I wonder if we'll ever get a legit new PG record, I don't count those pointless cover albums
