I like the production and there is definitely a lot going on. Quite similar in tone to Death of a King but I'm not as sold on the vocal melodies in The Bee.
EDIT: I'm all for the whole bee and hive theme though. Always loved that shit since I played Donkey Kong Country 2.

I guess I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, this song is fantastic. I Always dig their eastern melody riffs. Clean vocals in metal are very hit or miss for me, but man Tomi was such an amazing addition to Amorphis. His cleans and growls fit perfectly with their sound.

New song is solid. Not quite as good a first taste as Death of a King was, but still good overall. I couldn't get behind the clean vocals until their third appearance, but those growls are another story. Tomi is just awesome. Can't wait to see them again in October.

I got my ticket for October 6th. It's actually close enough to my home that I won't have to spend the night at a hotel, most of the time I need to travel 3-4 hours for concerts.
Funny story, I did travel to Houston in 2016 to see DT, since I figured they wouldn't come to Florida any time soon. Then they did last year, but that got f'ed up thanks to Irma, and now they're coming back with Amorphis.
