Dang, I need to check this out. Love Riverside.

Sweet album but the music is overly stripped and the drumming is generic. Riverside's power is in the constant changes between harsh, heavy and strong parts and mellower, more subtle and peaceful ones. The abssense of this basic element makes the new album sound so flat.

This is about as good as the last one, could use more variety but overall a very nice listen.

Honestly never been a huge fan of them but I do love coming back for small doses every once in a while. Out Of Myself rules hard.

Enjoyable album, another good composition. Unfortunately another soft compared to their first albums, has not dark vibrations and theres no " wow" moments. I like this album , listetning all day, but Shrine at least was unique and this is not.
They sad before they released new album" No more hard rock"...shame

It doesn't have enough character or interesting stuff going on. I'm all for changing things up, but just losing the hard rock aspect and not adding anything else isn't enough. They could have added cool electronic elements or something at least

I think the problem is that people have too much expectation. We should see art as it is, not what it should/could have been. I'm not saying that I do exactly that, but when it comes to artists I like, like Riverside, I can accept their 'newborn' for what it is. Imagine becoming a parent. You wouldn't love the baby because it isn't blonde as you've wanted it to be? All I'm saying is, no expectations, no disappointments.

Yeah you're right about the expectations point, but it isn't exactly "newborn." It sounds slightly different from SONGS, but it's not like there are many new elements. Anyway it's not a bad album, just not remarkable.

Newborn as in, young in age, recently put out. Not inventive. You get what I'm saying.... So.... no AOTY yet for both of us, huh?

This was a really great surprise. I love ADHD more than most Riverside fans (it seems), maybe even my favorite Riverside-album (edging out SLS), but this new album might even be their best. I think time will tell, but if this album ages as well as I'm hoping, it might just be their best.
Better than SONGS for sure.

i Know what You mean. We are not talking bad things about this album. There are really goods songs ..but we want to score is it better or not to the previous discography.
This album has no innovative and better things than first albums. Riverside probably looking for a new fans with more radio friendly hits or those who likes softer music, thats ok if they want to, still good album.

Congrats on the feature! I've checked out the first few songs off the album, I like them for what they are, but I haven't heard anything else of theirs barring SLS.
