He almost couldn't walk off stage, very sad ending to an iconic badass. It begs the question is there a point where it needs to be the end. I don't see, at least from the Austin show, that he will be able to play a whole show.

Especially after Lemmy calling off another show a couple of days back.

Well they've canceled/postponed all of their future dates, so time will tell :/ I hope he gets better, though

Guys he is 70, even if he "pulls through" and feels better how long will that last, unfortunately I think we just saw the last partial show. Will the first 2 lines of Metropolis be the last thing Lemmy does live, hope not, but it is a real possibility.

Don't mean to be a downer, but I think we should be lucky that we had him this long.

So seeing Motorhead yesterday I can say that Lemmy doesn't look all that bad. He's definitely thin, but it didn't look like he was on autopilot. That being said I was surprised at how much presence Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee had on stage.

Mikkey in particular impressed me as he brought a level of technicality to the drum beats of their classic songs.

All in all an amazing show, oh so incredibly loud, and an amazing setlist too. Iirc they didn't even play anything off this one since I recognized all the songs they played (haven't listened to this one yet)

That's awesome. Glad to read that Lemmy looks fine. I expected him to rest some more tbh but he's not your everyday human being.

The bloke is a colossus. Back on stage in weeks having it. Total legend.

Well, no wonder. There's only so much one man can stand, and he's been doing the dance far longer than most people would handle.

I hate it when people say "X band should just die/stop making music". You don't HAVE to buy a new AC/DC or Motorhead album every time one comes out. If some fans own every album, what does it matter to you? I'm not an enormous fan of either band, but I don't begrudge them for writing repetitive music. They'll all be dead relatively soon, and I prefer knowing that they're rocking, since that's obviously what they want to be doing.

I usually listen to a bit of each new Motorhead album on Youtube, but the most recent one I actually own is 1916.
