The dumb loud songs translate well live, especially the end of Providence, but they don’t usually work that well in the studio albums.

Exits is really good, glad to hear it’s more layered and less straightforward than they’ve been sounding after TLF.

Meh. The production is top notch but song is too steady (and overlong)

Yeah it’s gotta sweet groove, cool song.

Was hoping for something heavier but it’s still a pleasant surprise.

Less heavy the better when it comes to Foals

New song is very promising, lots of cool little details going on.

still have not given this a listen after being underwhelmed with the singles.

Happy to say that Exits was pretty great

Kind of bored by the new song. Didn't really go anywhere. Could have used some of those tension-building guitars in the second verse.

Got tickets to see Foals play a gig near me out in the woods. First time I'll be seeing them live, and I'm a fan of their music ... question is, are they any good live?

They are amazing live. Yannis can lose his voice pretty easily though.

Yannis is not the greatest live-vocalist, but the band is amazing and they bring a loooooooot of energy. A lot of their "heavier" tracks (What Went Down, Providence) really only work in a live setting.

New song released today, On The Luna. Not as enthusiastic about this one, sounds pretty flat.

On the Luna is good but not that memorable or unique compared to their past stuff. Hopefully it'll grow on more listens, but after it and Exits I'm a little afraid they've largely left their atmospheric side behind and are trying to be more radio-friendly.

Nice. Didn't realize the first one's release date was up so soon.
