The main problem I have with Soilwork is that the choruses sound really great, but most the verses sound almost identical to me and not particularly interesting. Just Strid screaming about whatever. If they had improved at there, I'd easily give it a high rating.
Standout tracks at the moment are Petrichor by Sulphur and Shining Lights.

I had the same impression about the band in their Figure Number Five - Sworn era, but if not any other, this is like THE album of Soilwork to rectify this issue...
Also, don't know if you were suggesting that in some comments above, but: not metalcore
